Nuclear Energy
Nuclear power is generated using Uranium, which is a metal that is mined in many parts of the world. Nuclear energy is used to generate electricity throughout cites. Today, nuclear energy reactors produce about 20% of the electricity in the USA. There are over 400 power reactors in the world and about 100 of them are in the USA. They produce electricity 24/7 without releasing CO2 into the atmosphere, however, nuclear energy does create radioactive nuclear waste which must be stored carefully.
